The Journal of Gynecology Obstetrics and Mother Health (ISSN: 3066-9855) is dedicated to publishing original, high-quality research aimed at advancing the field of women’s health, focusing on gynecology, obstetrics, and maternal health. This journal provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare providers to share cutting-edge studies and clinical advancements that improve the health and well-being of women at every stage of life. We aim to present evidence-based solutions to clinical challenges and promote best practices in the care of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and post-partum care.
Scope of the Journal
Our journal covers a wide spectrum of research and clinical topics within gynecology, obstetrics, and maternal health. From the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological disorders to the study of prenatal care, labour, and delivery, we publish work that enhances the understanding of women’s reproductive health. Our scope includes, but is not limited to:
Gynecology: Studies on common and complex gynecological conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and cancers affecting the female reproductive system. We also include research on infertility, menopausal care, and hormone therapy.
Obstetrics: Research on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, including studies on prenatal care, high-risk pregnancies, obstetric complications, and labour and delivery techniques. We also encourage studies on maternal mental health and postnatal care.
Maternal Health: Articles that focus on the health of mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. This includes studies on maternal nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. We are particularly interested in research that addresses disparities in maternal health outcomes and aims to improve access to healthcare for all women.
Reproductive Health and Family Planning: We welcome research exploring modern contraceptive methods, fertility preservation, and family planning techniques that empower women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
Global Health Initiatives: Research that examines maternal and reproductive health in different global contexts, especially in low- and middle-income countries. We seek studies that highlight global disparities in maternal care and propose practical solutions to improve outcomes.
Pediatric and Neonatal Care: Articles that explore the health of infants and neonates, particularly those born to women with high-risk pregnancies. This includes research on preterm births, neonatal care techniques, and the long-term health of babies born with congenital conditions.
Types of Articles Published
We accept a variety of manuscript types that contribute to our understanding of women's health. These include:
Original Research Articles: Full-length studies that present original data, including experimental research, clinical trials, and population-based studies in the fields of gynecology, obstetrics, and maternal health.
Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews that summarize current knowledge, trends, and future directions in a specific area of women’s health, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
Clinical Case Studies: Detailed reports of rare or complex cases that provide important learning opportunities for clinicians and contribute to improving diagnostic and treatment strategies.
Short Communications: Brief reports on novel findings or ongoing research that could contribute significantly to the field, such as new diagnostic techniques, treatment strategies, or innovative interventions.
Editorials and Opinion Articles: Articles that provide insights on recent developments in women’s health, clinical practices, policy changes, and broader societal issues affecting maternal and gynecological care.
Methodological Papers: Articles that focus on new or improved methodologies, tools, and technologies for conducting research or clinical practice in obstetrics and gynecology.
Letters to the Editor: Responses to articles published in the journal, as well as letters that contribute to ongoing discussions in the field of gynecology, obstetrics, and maternal health.
