Global Journal of Comprehensive Medical Reports & Reviews

About Journal

Medical knowledge continues to evolve through a combination of empirical research, clinical observations, diagnostic reporting, and scholarly synthesis. While major advances often emerge from large-scale trials and experimental studies, equally important contributions are made through carefully documented case reports, retrospective reviews, clinical audits, and evidence-based discussions. The Global Journal of Comprehensive Medical Reports & Reviews has been founded to provide an academic platform for the publication of descriptive and analytical work that contributes meaningfully to patient care, medical education, and clinical decision-making.

This journal is focused on the publication of content that reflects the full spectrum of real-world medical practice. Its core aim is to capture and disseminate knowledge gained from case-based learning, hospital-based reporting, departmental reviews, therapeutic reflections, and structured clinical reviews. It serves as a repository of practical insights and cumulative evidence that may not always be visible through controlled trials or laboratory experiments but nonetheless carry high educational and diagnostic value.

The Global Journal of Comprehensive Medical Reports & Reviews is intended for medical practitioners, postgraduate trainees, specialists, general physicians, researchers, educators, and students across all areas of medicine. It welcomes submissions from clinicians and health professionals working in hospitals, academic departments, primary care settings, community health, and specialist centres.

Submissions may span across specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, dermatology, orthopaedics, psychiatry, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, neurology, infectious diseases, emergency medicine, and others. The journal also accepts multidisciplinary reports that reflect interactions between clinical domains.

The journal accepts the following types of contributions:

  • Clinical case reports of diagnostic or therapeutic significance
  • Series of patient cases reflecting a pattern or trend
  • Comprehensive clinical reviews with practical recommendations
  • Narrative or literature reviews with focused medical relevance
  • Case-based learning modules for academic teaching
  • Complication reports with root-cause analysis and learning points
  • Diagnostic dilemmas with outcome-based follow-up
  • Departmental audits and retrospective data reviews
  • Procedural innovations in everyday clinical care
  • Pharmacovigilance reports and drug reaction observations
  • Ethical case discussions and physician reflections

Case-based submissions are encouraged to focus not only on what occurred, but also on how clinical reasoning unfolded, what alternatives were considered, and what broader messages can be drawn. Reports that include clear teaching points, decision-making frameworks, or learning outcomes are especially encouraged, particularly when they can support junior doctors, medical students, or early-career clinicians.

The Global Journal of Comprehensive Medical Reports & Reviews also welcomes review articles that bring together evidence across clinical trials, observational studies, and guideline updates. These reviews should be written to clarify concepts, summarise current standards, and identify practical steps in diagnosis, management, or referral.

The journal accepts submissions based on observational studies and hospital-based data sets. Retrospective analyses and chart reviews must include a clear description of methodology, inclusion criteria, ethical approval (where relevant), and an explanation of how findings contribute to existing knowledge. Articles must avoid anecdotal reporting in favour of structured narratives, with appropriate referencing and scholarly balance.

The journal does not publish basic science research, laboratory animal studies, or molecular biology work. Its focus is strictly clinical, educational, and applied in nature.

All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. Reviewers are selected from a pool of experienced clinicians and academic professionals in relevant specialties. Each manuscript is evaluated for clinical relevance, clarity of presentation, depth of analysis, and overall contribution to the field. Authors will receive detailed feedback and, where necessary, guidance for revision.

Authors must ensure that all patient data presented in the manuscript comply with ethical standards and privacy regulations. Identifying details must be removed or anonymised unless patient consent has been explicitly obtained. Case reports and clinical images should include a patient consent statement if there is any risk of recognition.

The journal accepts global submissions and encourages the inclusion of reports and reviews from underrepresented or resource-limited settings. Reports describing rare conditions, underreported complications, or local adaptations in patient care are welcomed, especially when they offer transferable insights or reflect broader challenges in healthcare delivery.

To support clarity and accessibility, the Global Journal of Comprehensive Medical Reports & Reviews accepts manuscripts from both native and non-native English speakers. Language support and editorial assistance may be provided for accepted manuscripts requiring linguistic polishing prior to publication.

The journal publishes the following article types:

  • Single-case reports
  • Case series
  • Clinical review articles
  • Educational reviews
  • Procedural or diagnostic innovations
  • Short communications
  • Departmental data summaries
  • Opinion or commentary based on clinical experience
  • Letters to the editor
  • Teaching and training reflections

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are advised to consult the Author Guidelines for formatting details, structure requirements, and submission procedures. All references cited in the text must be listed at the end of the manuscript. The journal accepts citations in APA style. Authors must ensure accuracy and consistency in referencing.

An Article Processing Charge will be levied upon acceptance of the manuscript. Details regarding APC and publication timelines will be communicated to the corresponding author upon final acceptance.

The Global Journal of Comprehensive Medical Reports & Reviews is dedicated to supporting high-quality, practice-oriented medical literature that enhances the quality of care, strengthens academic learning, and promotes reflective clinical practice. It invites submissions from across the medical community and aims to serve as a reliable resource for practical knowledge sharing, patient case analysis, and structured clinical learning.
