Author Guidelines

The World Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Research invites authors to submit original research articles, review articles, technical notes, and short communications that contribute to the advancement of AI and robotics. Please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure your submission meets the necessary requirements for peer review and publication.

1. Manuscript Types
We accept the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles: These articles should present new, original research findings that make a significant contribution to the fields of AI and robotics.
  • Review Articles: We welcome comprehensive reviews that summarize the state of the art in specific areas of AI and robotics research, highlighting recent advancements and future research directions.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports of novel findings or developments in AI and robotics that require prompt publication.
  • Technical Notes: Focused articles that discuss new methodologies, algorithms, or technologies related to AI and robotics.

2. Manuscript Preparation

  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English. Authors whose first language is not English may wish to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission.
  • Formatting: Submissions should be made in Word format (doc or docx), double-spaced, with 1-inch margins, and in a 12-point font (Times New Roman or similar). Please include page numbers in the manuscript.
  • Title: The title should be specific, concise, and reflective of the manuscript’s content. Titles should not exceed 15 words.
  • Abstract: A concise abstract (150-250 words) summarizing the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: Authors should provide 4-6 keywords that best describe the content of the manuscript.

3. Main Sections of the Manuscript

  • Introduction: The introduction should include background information, research objectives, and the significance of the study.
  • Materials and Methods: A clear and detailed description of the methods, algorithms, and techniques used in the study.
  • Results: Presentation of the results, including figures and tables where applicable.
  • Discussion: Interpretation of the results, comparison with existing research, and an exploration of the implications of the findings.
  • Conclusion: A summary of the main findings and their potential impact on AI and robotics.

4. References

  • Use the APA citation style for all references. In-text citations should be formatted as (Author, Year). For the reference list:
    • Books: Author, A. A. (Year). Title of the book. Publisher.
    • Articles: Author, A. A. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), Page numbers. https://doi.org/xx.xxx

5. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables should be numbered sequentially and cited in the text. High-quality images, diagrams, and graphs should be submitted in separate files (preferably in .jpg, .png, or .tiff formats).

6. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. A cover letter must accompany the manuscript, stating its originality and contribution to the field.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial or personal relationships that may affect the impartiality of the manuscript.

7. Peer Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest quality standards.

8. Article Processing Charges

  • Upon acceptance, authors will be required to pay an Article Processing Charge. More information will be provided during the submission process.

9. Ethical Considerations

  • Studies involving human or animal subjects must have appropriate ethical approval, and this should be clearly stated in the manuscript. Authors must also ensure proper citation of sources.

10. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright but grant the journal a license to publish the manuscript under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license.
