Author Guidelines
All manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission system. Authors should ensure that their manuscript follows the journal’s submission guidelines, which include proper formatting, structure, and referencing. Submissions are only accepted in English.
Formatting Requirements
- Manuscript Length: Manuscripts should be between 3000 and 8000 words, excluding figures, tables, and references.
- Title: The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the article.
- Abstract: The abstract should summarise the key points of the manuscript in no more than 250 words.
- Keywords: A list of 4-6 keywords must be included to help identify the focus of the paper.
- References: The reference style should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) format. References must be numbered in the order they appear in the manuscript.
Types of Manuscripts Accepted
- Original Research Articles: Full-length articles presenting new findings or discoveries in pediatric healthcare.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive overviews of particular topics in pediatric medicine.
- Case Reports: Detailed reports of interesting or unusual pediatric cases.
- Short Communications: Concise reports of significant research findings.
- Methodology Articles: Papers that discuss new methods or techniques used in pediatric research.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic rigor. Authors will be notified of the reviewers’ comments and may be asked to make revisions before final acceptance.
Ethical Considerations
Authors must ensure that their research adheres to ethical guidelines, including obtaining informed consent from patients or guardians where applicable. Research involving human subjects or animals must have been approved by an appropriate ethical committee or institutional review board.
Publication Fees
There are no submission fees for manuscripts. However, authors will be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of their paper for publication.
