The Global Journal of Translational Science and Integrated Technologies accepts original research, reviews, applied case studies, and implementation-focused manuscripts that contribute to bridging the gap between scientific discovery and practical application. Submissions should be well-structured, clearly written, and grounded in rigorous methodology. Authors must follow the journal’s formatting, citation, and ethical standards.
All manuscripts must be written in English and submitted electronically through the journal’s online portal. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submission is original, free from plagiarism, and not under consideration elsewhere.
Article Types
Original Research Articles: Reports based on translational studies, technology integration, clinical validation, or applied scientific development.
Review Articles: Comprehensive summaries of the literature on a translational or interdisciplinary topic. Reviews should highlight challenges, gaps, and recommendations for future work.
Technical or Platform Descriptions: Reports of new tools, diagnostic platforms, computational frameworks, or systems models with supporting data.
Implementation and Use-Case Reports: Case studies or pilot programmes demonstrating real-world integration of scientific or technological innovations.
Policy or Infrastructure Commentary: Discussions of regulatory challenges, institutional frameworks, or capacity-building in translational science.
Educational and Training Models: Descriptions of teaching programmes, interdisciplinary mentorships, or training simulations that support translational work.
Letters to the Editor: Short pieces offering feedback on published articles or raising relevant scientific or implementation-related issues.
General Formatting
Submissions should be prepared in Word format using Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spacing, and standard 2.5 cm margins. All pages must be numbered.
Title Page
The title page must include the manuscript title, full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, email address of the corresponding author, funding information, and any conflict of interest disclosures.
A patient consent statement or ethics committee approval should also be mentioned on the title page where applicable.
Abstract
Each manuscript should include an abstract of 250 to 300 words. The abstract should summarise the background, objectives, methodology, results, and key conclusions of the study. For reviews or technical reports, the abstract should define the focus, structure, and main insights.
Keywords
Provide 4 to 6 keywords that reflect the core subject areas of the manuscript. These will be used for indexing and article visibility.
Main Text
Authors should use a clear and logical structure. For original research, the preferred format is:
Introduction: Define the problem, contextual background, and the translational gap addressed.
Methods: Describe study design, data sources, modelling techniques, tool development, integration procedures, and validation protocols.
Results: Present findings with supporting figures or tables, simulations, field data, or software performance evaluations.
Discussion: Interpret results in context. Address implications, limitations, and translational potential. Include suggestions for future development or scale-up.
Conclusion: Briefly summarise the contributions and practical relevance.
Other article types such as reviews, technical overviews, or case-based reports may follow a flexible structure, provided the content remains logically ordered and academically sound.
Tables and Figures
All tables and figures must be cited in the main text and numbered in order. Tables should include descriptive titles. Figures must be submitted in high-resolution formats (JPEG, PNG, or TIFF) and include informative captions.
Avoid duplication of data between text, tables, and figures. Ensure visual elements are clear and accessible to readers with colour or resolution constraints.
References
All references cited in the text must be listed at the end of the manuscript. The journal accepts citations in APA style. Authors must ensure accuracy and consistency in referencing.
Ethical Considerations
Authors must ensure that studies involving human participants or clinical data include appropriate ethical review and approval. Research involving patient data, biological specimens, or identifiable images must be accompanied by informed consent or an institutional exemption letter.
For public health studies or community-level projects, ethics clearance from a recognised authority is required. Authors should describe all relevant safeguards to protect individual privacy, autonomy, and community interests.
Studies involving animals must follow national and institutional guidelines, with appropriate approval statements provided.
Conflict of Interest
All authors are required to declare any financial, personal, or institutional interests that could influence the content or interpretation of their manuscript. This statement must appear on the title page and also in the body of the manuscript, where applicable.
Funding Acknowledgements
Authors must list all sources of financial support, including grant numbers, institutional sponsors, and product or service providers. If no funding was received, this should be clearly stated.
Supplementary Materials and Data
The journal encourages authors to share supplementary files such as data tables, software code, simulation models, or technical appendices. These materials should be submitted alongside the manuscript and clearly referenced in the main text.
Authors may use public repositories or institutional archives, provided access instructions are included in the manuscript.
Submission Process
All submissions must be made through the journal’s official submission platform. A complete submission includes:
Main manuscript file
Title page
Figures and tables (if not embedded)
Supplementary files
Cover letter outlining the article’s relevance and originality
By submitting, authors confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere and that all listed authors have contributed significantly to the work.
Peer Review
Manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review. Each manuscript is evaluated by two or more reviewers with expertise in the relevant scientific and applied fields. Reviewers assess originality, methodological rigour, clarity of presentation, and translational value.
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewer feedback. Revised manuscripts must be submitted within the timeframe communicated by the editorial team.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
An Article Processing Charge will be levied upon acceptance of the manuscript. Specific details regarding the APC will be communicated to the corresponding author at the time of acceptance.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright to their work. Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the manuscript under an open-access model. Authors may archive and share the published version with appropriate citation.
Editorial Support
The editorial team is available to answer questions regarding scope, manuscript preparation, or the submission process. Authors are encouraged to contact the journal office in advance if clarification is needed.
