Author Guidelines

The Global Journal of Mobile Communication and Computing Technologies accepts submissions that examine mobile systems, communication technologies, and computing applications. Manuscripts must reflect a commitment to intellectual rigour, clarity, and ethical research practice. Submissions should be original, clearly written, and relevant to the journal’s core themes.

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Submissions that do not meet the journal’s formatting or ethical standards may be returned to authors before peer review.

Article Types

  • Research Articles: Full-length empirical, theoretical, or simulation-based studies addressing mobile communication and computing technologies.
  • Analytical Essays: Conceptual or reflective pieces on frameworks or debates in communication or computing.
  • Review Articles: Surveys of literature critically evaluating developments and knowledge gaps in mobile systems or computing.
  • Case Studies: Analyses of projects, applications, or systems in mobile communication or computing environments.
  • Commentary and Perspective: Short reflections on emerging developments in mobile or computing technologies.
  • Policy Analyses: Evaluations of regulations, standards, or governance frameworks in mobile communication and computing.
  • Educational Reports: Teaching models, training programs, or curriculum development in mobile communication or computing fields.
  • Letters to the Editor: Scholarly responses to published articles or short reflections on new topics.

General Formatting

  • All manuscripts must be submitted as Microsoft Word files using Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spacing, and 2.5 cm margins. Pages must be numbered.

Title Page
The title page must include:

  • Full manuscript title
  • Names and institutional affiliations of all authors
  • Corresponding author’s contact details
  • Conflict of interest disclosures
  • Funding acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • Ethical approval statements (if applicable)
  • A short author biography (50–100 words) may be included as a separate file if requested.

Abstract
All submissions must include an abstract of 250–300 words summarising objectives, methods, findings, and contributions. It must be suitable for readers outside the author’s primary discipline but with an interest in mobile communication or computing technologies.

Keywords
Authors should provide 4–6 keywords reflecting the scope and themes of the manuscript.

Main Text
For research manuscripts, the following structure is recommended:

  • Introduction: Define the problem, situate within literature, and outline its relevance.
  • Methods: Describe methodologies, simulations, frameworks, or theoretical approaches.
  • Results or Argument: Present findings, models, or conceptual contributions.
  • Discussion: Interpret results in context, address limitations, and explore implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarise key contributions and future research directions.

Tables and Figures

  • Must be labelled, numbered, and cited in the text.
  • Figures should be high resolution (JPEG, PNG, TIFF).
  • Supplementary materials such as datasets, code, or appendices should be submitted separately.

References
All references must be listed at the end in APA style. Authors must ensure accuracy and consistency.

Ethical Considerations
Research involving human participants (e.g., mobile app studies, user experience trials) must include ethics approval or exemption. For industry collaborations, authors must confirm data responsibility, privacy, and consent.

Conflict of Interest
All authors must declare financial, institutional, or professional relationships that could affect their work.

Funding Disclosure
All funding sources must be acknowledged, or state if none were received.

Submission Requirements
Submissions must include: main manuscript, title page, tables/figures, supplementary files (if applicable), and a cover letter outlining originality and relevance.

Peer Review
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by experts in mobile communication and computing technologies.
