Author Guidelines

Authors intending to submit to the World Journal of Medicine and Health Care are requested to adhere strictly to the following guidelines. Submissions that do not comply may be returned or delayed during the review process.

1. Article Categories

We accept a range of manuscript types including:

Original Research Articles: Full-length manuscripts presenting new and significant findings.

Review Articles: In-depth analyses of current knowledge in a specific area, with comprehensive references.

Case Reports: Well-documented clinical observations that are rare or have unique diagnostic or therapeutic significance.

Clinical Trials: Reports of interventional or observational studies conducted with patient populations.

Short Communications: Brief reports with novel findings or immediate relevance to the healthcare field.

Health Policy Analyses: Detailed examinations of healthcare systems, policy proposals, and reforms.

Letters to the Editor: Concise commentary or discussion related to content previously published in the journal.

2. Manuscript Formatting

Manuscripts must be submitted in English using Microsoft Word, with a clean layout and double-spaced text. Use 12-point Times New Roman font with 1-inch margins. Each submission should include the following components:

Title Page: Clearly state the full title of the manuscript, list all authors with affiliations, and indicate the corresponding author with complete contact details.

Abstract: A concise summary not exceeding 250 words. It should briefly state the background, methods, results, and conclusion of the study.

Keywords: Provide 4 to 6 keywords or phrases that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript for indexing purposes.

Main Text: Structure your manuscript with clearly defined sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Use appropriate subheadings and avoid unnecessary jargon.

Figures and Tables: Should be placed at the end of the manuscript or uploaded separately. Each should have a descriptive title and caption.

References: Follow APA style strictly. List all sources cited in the text and ensure accuracy in author names, publication years, titles, and journal names.

3. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review. Authors can expect an initial editorial assessment followed by external peer review by subject matter experts. The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection will be made by the editorial board based on the quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript.

4. Ethical Considerations

Manuscripts reporting studies involving human participants must include a statement of ethical approval from an institutional review board or ethics committee. Authors should also state that informed consent was obtained from all participants. Studies involving animals must comply with institutional and national guidelines.

Plagiarism in any form is not tolerated. All manuscripts are screened for originality before peer review. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is free from any form of academic misconduct.
