For case reports or clinical images involving identifiable patients, written informed consent from the individual (or guardian) is required and must be submitted along with the manuscript.

Plagiarism and Originality

Submissions must be entirely original. All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening prior to peer review. Any indication of plagiarism or duplicate publication will result in immediate rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript.

  • Accept
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Revise and resubmit (major revisions required)
  • Reject

Authors will receive detailed reviewer comments and must respond point-by-point in a revision document when submitting updated versions.

Publication and Open Access Policy

The World Journal of Clinical Dermatology operates under a fully open-access model. All accepted articles are published online with unrestricted access, allowing the global medical community to read, share, and cite research freely.

To support editorial processes, technical hosting, and indexing, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge upon acceptance. The specific APC amount is provided after acceptance and is subject to the journal’s standard policy.

Post-Acceptance and Proofs

After acceptance, authors will receive galley proofs for review before final publication. This stage is intended for minor corrections only. Substantial changes to the manuscript content are not permitted at this stage.

Authors are responsible for reviewing and approving the final version promptly to avoid delays in publication.
