Author Guidelines
The World Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistics (3067-8307) accepts submissions in several formats, each tailored to support diverse scholarly contributions. Authors must ensure that their manuscripts conform to one of the following categories:
- Original Research Articles: In-depth studies reporting new findings, theoretical insights, or applications.
- Review Articles: Critical evaluations of existing literature in a specific area, with comprehensive synthesis and future research directions.
- Short Communications: Brief, timely reports of novel methods or important preliminary results.
- Case Studies: Real-world applications of mathematical or statistical approaches addressing practical problems.
- Methodological Papers: Detailed discussions on new or refined mathematical/statistical techniques with clear applicability.
Each manuscript must include the following core sections:
- Title Page: Includes the full title, author names with affiliations, corresponding author’s contact details, and acknowledgments if applicable.
- Abstract: A concise summary (150–250 words) highlighting the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: 4 to 6 keywords that reflect the content for indexing purposes.
- Introduction: A clear rationale for the study, including background, objectives, and relevance.
- Materials and Methods: Detailed information on data sources, theoretical frameworks, statistical models, or algorithms used.
- Results: Presentation of key findings supported by tables, figures, or graphs.
- Discussion: Interpretation of the results, implications, limitations, and comparison with existing studies.
- Conclusion: Briefly states the primary outcome and suggests directions for future work.
- References: All citations must follow APA style, both in-text and in the reference list.
- Supplementary Materials: If applicable, include appendices, datasets, or additional figures.
Manuscript Preparation
To ensure consistency and ease of review, authors are advised to format their submissions as follows:
- Font: Use a readable font such as Times New Roman, 12-point size.
- Spacing: Double-spaced text with standard margins (1 inch on all sides).
- Pagination: Number all pages consecutively.
- Headings: Use clear, hierarchical headings to organize content.
- Equations: Number equations sequentially and use proper formatting for mathematical notation.
- Figures and Tables: Submit high-resolution images and editable tables. Each must be numbered and include a descriptive caption.
Authors are encouraged to provide clear, precise writing and avoid jargon unless essential. All abbreviations should be defined on first use.
Submission Guidelines

During submission, authors should upload the following:

- Figures and tables (if not embedded in the main file)
- Cover letter outlining the manuscript’s significance

- Data availability statement, where applicable
The submission system allows tracking the status of the manuscript at various stages of review.
Peer Review Process
The World Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistics follows a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript is evaluated for:

- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Ethical integrity and proper attribution

The World Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistics is an open-access journal published by MK SCIENCE SET LLC. All articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription barriers. This model supports global dissemination of knowledge and fosters broader scholarly engagement.
To maintain editorial quality, digital archiving, and technical infrastructure, an Article Processing Charge is required for accepted articles. The APC helps cover:
- Editorial and peer review management
- Online hosting and DOI assignment
- Article formatting and indexing
- Long-term archiving and repository inclusion
The specific APC amount will be communicated to authors after acceptance. There is no fee for submission or review. Waivers or discounts may be considered on a case-by-case basis, especially for researchers from low-income countries.
Authorship and Acknowledgments
All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the manuscript in one or more of the following areas:
- Conceptualization or design
- Data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation
- Drafting or critical revision of the content
- Final approval of the version to be published
Contributors who do not meet these criteria should be acknowledged in a separate section at the end of the manuscript.
Any changes in authorship (addition or removal) after submission require written consent from all involved parties.
Citation Style
The journal follows the APA citation format. In-text citations should include the author's last name and year of publication (e.g., Smith, 2020). The reference list should be alphabetized and formatted as follows:

Data Availability and Reproducibility
The journal supports transparency and reproducibility in research. Authors are encouraged to deposit datasets, code, or supplementary materials in recognized repositories and provide access links in the manuscript. If data sharing is not feasible due to privacy or confidentiality, authors must clearly explain the reason in a data availability statement.
