Author Guidelines
The Science Set Journal of Radiology (ISSN: 3065-4742) welcomes original research, case studies, and reviews in the field of radiology and medical imaging. Authors are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure clarity and consistency in the submission process.
General Submission Requirements
- Originality: All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals.
- Manuscript Length:
- Research Articles: 3000–5000 words
- Review Articles: 5000–7000 words
- Case Reports: 1500–3000 words
- Abstract: A concise abstract (up to 250 words) is required for all submissions. It should summarize the aim, methodology, results, and conclusion of the research.
- Keywords: Authors must include 4-6 keywords that are relevant to the subject matter of the manuscript.
Formatting Guidelines
- File Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Figures and tables should be submitted separately in high-resolution formats (.jpg, .png, .tiff).
- Title Page: The title page should include the title of the manuscript, full names and affiliations of all authors, and the contact details of the corresponding author.
- Headings and Subheadings: Use appropriate section headings (Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, etc.). The headings should be clear and descriptive.
- References: References must follow the APA citation style, both in-text and in the reference list. Authors should ensure that all cited works are included in the reference section.
- Tables and Figures:
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively.
- Each table and figure must have a descriptive caption.
Ethical Considerations
- Human and Animal Studies: Authors must ensure that studies involving humans or animals have been conducted by ethical standards. Research involving humans must include a statement of informed consent.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest.
- Plagiarism: Submissions must be free from plagiarism. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will result in immediate rejection.
Review and Publication Process
- Peer Review: All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will be notified of the reviewers’ feedback and required to address any comments in a revised submission.
- Revisions: Authors should submit a response letter along with the revised manuscript addressing the reviewers’ comments.
- Acceptance: After successful revisions, manuscripts will be accepted for publication and authors will be notified of the publication timeline.
- Open Access and Article Processing Charge: The Science Set Journal of Radiology is an open-access journal. An Article Processing Charge is applicable upon acceptance of the manuscript.
Submission Process
- Online Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission portal. This allows authors to track the status of their submission.
- Cover Letter: A cover letter outlining the significance of the research and its relevance to the journal’s scope must accompany all submissions.
Copyright and Licensing
- Copyright Transfer: Upon acceptance, authors will transfer copyright of their manuscript to the Science Set Journal of Radiology.
- Creative Commons License: Articles will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing for unrestricted sharing and adaptation, with proper citation.
