Methodological Papers: Studies that introduce or critically assess new methodologies, techniques, or tools that can improve research or clinical practice.

2. Manuscript Preparation
Language:
Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English. Authors whose first language is not English should consider having their manuscript professionally edited before submission to ensure linguistic accuracy.

Formatting: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. The document should be double-spaced with 1-inch margins on all sides. Please use a standard 12-point font, such as Times New Roman. Ensure page numbers are included in the manuscript.

Title: The title should be descriptive and concise, accurately reflecting the content of the manuscript. Titles should not exceed 15 words.

Headings and Subheadings: Organize the manuscript with clear and appropriate headings and subheadings. Manuscripts should typically include the following sections:

Figures and Tables: Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and cited in the text. Provide a descriptive title for each figure or table. High-quality images and graphs are required, and they should be submitted as separate files (preferably in .jpg, .png, or .tiff formats).

3. Submission Process
Online Submission:
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors must create an account, log in, and follow the steps to submit their manuscript and any associated materials (figures, tables, supplementary files, etc.).

Cover Letter: A cover letter must accompany the manuscript, which should include the following:

A statement confirming that the manuscript is original and has not been submitted or published elsewhere.

A summary of the manuscript’s key contributions to clinical nursing or healthcare.

A statement regarding any potential conflicts of interest.

Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could be perceived as influencing the manuscript’s objectivity.

4. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. The journal’s editorial team will assign qualified experts to evaluate the manuscript based on its scientific merit, relevance, clarity, and impact on the field of clinical nursing. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on the reviewers' feedback before the final decision is made regarding publication.

5. Article Processing Charges
Upon acceptance, authors will be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs associated with the publication of the manuscript. Further details on APC rates and payment procedures will be provided during the submission process.

6. Ethical Guidelines
Ethical Approval:
Studies involving human or animal subjects must have received appropriate ethical approval from an institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee. Authors must state in the manuscript that all necessary approvals were obtained.

Patient Consent: If the manuscript includes information or images of patients, authors must confirm that informed consent has been obtained from the patients or their legal guardians for the publication of such material.

Data Integrity: Authors must ensure that all data and results reported in the manuscript are accurate and derived from reliable sources. Fabricated or manipulated data will result in immediate rejection.

7. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain full copyright of their work but grant the journal a license to publish it under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license. This allows others to freely share, remix, adapt, and build upon the work, provided proper credit is given to the original authors.

8. Revision Process
Once peer review is completed, authors will receive feedback from the reviewers. If revisions are requested, authors must address all comments and submit a revised manuscript. Authors should also include a response letter detailing how they have addressed the reviewers’ comments and changes made to the manuscript.

By following these guidelines, authors help ensure the swift and smooth publication of their work in the Journal of Clinical Nursing & Reports. We look forward to receiving your contributions and working with you to advance the field of clinical nursing.
