Abstract:
Georgios Apostolakis was a famous anatomist, professor at the chair of descriptive anatomy at the University of Athens (1938). He studied medicine at the University of Athens and specialized in Anatomy at various European uni versities (France, Spain, Italy). He took part in the wars of the period 1912-23 as a senior health officer. The main purpose of this article is to highlight the indistutable contribution of Georgios Apostolakis to human and surgical anatomy.
