Abstract:
Cacao frosty pod rot is a fungal disease, exclusive to the fruit, with great impact on the production and quality of the raw material in Colombia. The control platform consists of the rigorous removal of the internal sources of infection, which are the sporulated fruits and with symptoms of brown spot for two and a half consecutive months, fruits that are left freely on the ground exposed to their natural decomposition. Pruning is a practice that facilitates the removal of diseased fruits.
