Abstract:
Parkinson's disease (PD) is recognised as the second most commonly occurring neurodegenerative disorder, after Alzheimer's disease. As per the Parkinson Disease Foundation, it is estimated that Parkinson's disease affects around 7-10 million people worldwide, as reported by [1]. The principal aetiology of PD is the degeneration of neurons that produce dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is a crucial neurotransmitter that regulates the smooth and coordinated functioning of muscles. The primary motor manifestations of PD comprise resting tremor, bradykinesia, rigidity, and compromised postural stability
