Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a common autoimmune disease, which brings great pain and economic burden to patients. Tripterygium wilfordii, a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, has long been used to treat inflammatory diseases, including RA. Tripterygium wilfordii has remarkable curative effect on rheumatoid arthritis, and has no obvious side effects. It provides a new choice for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
