Abstract:
XPADI — Survivability-Governed Data Systems (SGDS) introduces a new system-level approach for data continuity in environments where failure is inevitable. Modern digital systems are built around storage, rep lication, and security. These models assume that systems can prevent failure through protection mechanisms. However, real-world conditions consistently demonstrate that no infrastructure, cloud platform, or security layer can fully guarantee protection against compromise, corruption, or loss. XPADI shifts this paradigm from prevention to survivability. Instead of relying on complete data storage, the system operates through structured fragmentation and deterministic reconstruction. Data is distributed as incomplete units and becomes usable only through controlled reconstruction. This approach enables: • continuity beyond infrastructure failure • recovery independent of original storage • system validity under partial damage XPADI — Survivability-Governed Data Systems (SGDS) defines a transition from protection-based systems to survivability-governed architectures, where data existence is preserved even when systems fail.
