Toppling Tyranny via Tokenized Transparency How Blockchain Governance Dis mantles Extractive Power Structures and Redistributes Economic Sovereignty

Abstract:
Tyranny, in its contemporary form, is not primarily a political phenomenon. It is an economic architecture — a self-reinforcing system of opacity, institutional capture, and capital concentration that has, since 1980, trans ferred 16 percentage points of global wealth from the bottom 50 percent to the top 1 percent. This paper argues that the primary mechanism sustaining this architecture is informational asymmetry: the powerful know what the powerless do not. Transparency, therefore, is not merely a governance virtue — it is the foundational weap on of economic liberation. We introduce the Sotilitarian Governance Model, a formal framework that maps the transition from extractive equilibrium to transparent governance using a two-dimensional phase diagram (Transparency Index T, Power Concentration Index P). We demonstrate that the current global institutional equilibrium sits at approximately (T = 0.12, P = 0.88) — a state we define as the Tyranny Zone — and that the Sotilitarian target equilibrium at (T = 0.82, P = 0.22) is achievable through the systematic deployment of tokenized transparency infrastructure. We further introduce the SotilityStableToken (SST) Mint Mechanism, a novel monetary architecture that collateralizes stable currency against verified organizational efficiency gains rather than stored capital. This mechanism directly addresses the capital-exclusion problem: communities that generate real economic value through organizational improvement can now access liquidity proportional to that improvement, without requiring pre-existing collateral. We model the SST supply growth curve, demon strate its anti-inflationary structural properties, and quantify the total addressable reserve at $8.7 trillion in annual global organizational waste. Finally, we present the Transparency-Accountability Gap (TA-Gap) as a new analytical metric for measuring institutional failure, and demonstrate that blockchain-governed DAOs achieve TA-Gap scores 3.1× lower than traditional governmental institutions — the strongest empirical evi dence yet that tokenized transparency is not merely theoretical but operationally superior.
