Abstract:
Pediatric surgery is a specialized discipline focused on the management of congenital and acquired surgical conditions in neonates, infants, and children. This review synthesizes current evidence from established literature to evaluate advances in diagnostic approaches, operative techniques, and perioperative care. Emphasis is placed on minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures, neonatal surgical interventions, and the management of complications in pediatric anesthesia. The role of multidisciplinary care and evidence-based clinical protocols is highlighted as essential for optimizing patient outcomes. These findings support the continued evolution of pediatric surgical practice in alignment with modern standards of safety, efficiency, and improved clinical prognosis.
